Walk details:
• Duration: Till around 9:45 AM (lake gates close at 10 AM)
• Terrain: Level, approximately 2 km around the lake
• Suitable for all ages—you may leave whenever you wish.
What to wear:
• Dull-coloured clothes
• Hats/caps
• Comfortable walking shoes (avoid slippers or thin-soled sandals—the path is unpaved)
• Rainwear or warm clothing, depending on the weather forecast
What to bring:
• Binoculars, bird books/apps
• Camera
• Notebook/sketchpad and pencil (optional)
• Drinking water and snacks

Hesaraghatta Grasslands, we meet at ‘Rassba Farms’, near the Animal Quarantine And Certification Services Hessarghatta Office , where we will park our vehicles and use their facilities. We start the walk from there and cross over to the grasslands.
Nearest Bus Stop: CFSP Farm Stop, 2.6 Km/30 mins walk to the animal quarantine center office. Buses plying from Yelahanka towards Byatha stop here.

Nearest station is Thalagattapura (Green Line) – From here, the meeting point can be reached by auto or cab (2 km/ approx. 10 minutes)
• BMTC buses: Bus services from Kengeri Terminus and Kanakapura Road. The nearest bus stop is Agara Cross. A short auto or cab ride will get you to the meeting point. Carpooling recommended for safety.
Important notes:
please carry CASH only of 10 rs for entry and 100 rs for camera fees, charged by department
• There are no restaurants or washrooms along the trail

Registration is needed to participate in this walk, registrations open on the 4th THURSDAY Night (20th August) at 8 pm on this site and runs out very soon. Maximum 30 registrations allowed.
